This leather jacket is hand painted with bamboo brushes, sealed, and distressed using many unusual and traditional methods. The samurai warrior image was selected from an ancient document from the Muromachi Period (circa,1333 - 1573) following the history and plight of the Samurai warrior during this period. Samurai were supposed to lead their lives according to the ethic code of bushido. Bushido stressed concepts such as loyalty to one's master, self discipline and respectful, ethical behavior. With over one hundred hours of work in this piece, this truly is a one of a kind leather jacket.
